My mother called them daffy-down-dillys.
Funny how I think of her at the oddest times.

That was a name for the flower I frequently heard in Texas when I was a child! One of the reasons I grew up loving them! Beautiful capture, Christine!

How can anyone not love these sweet flowers .. with our crazy warm weather I do have them coming up .. but still a ways yet to have blooms from them .. but I have crocus blooming their little faces off ! LOL
