Signs of Spring: Alder Catkins

Looking to the sky yesterday, I noticed that the alder trees have got catkins on them. Then I began to notice other signs that spring is on its way. Tiny iris blooms, blueberry and huckleberry blossoms, hyacinth popping up, swelling dogwood buds. And yesterday I saw a hummer gathering the Japanese anemone seed fluff.

Beautiful skies and a great shot of the alder tree!! It is a joy to see some signs of spring no matter how small! Enjoy your day!
