Nodding Daffodils

These small daffodils (a mere 8-inches tall and the same ones from this photo), with their nodding heads, are difficult to photograph without laying down on the (wet) ground and shooting upwards, making it a challenge to capture their pretty little yellow faces.

Still, it wouldn't be Monday without Monday Mellow Yellows.  Check out the photos featuring the color yellow from photographers all around the world.

So beautiful...but the most stunning daffodils I've ever seen were many years ago in the Lake District of England.

The appearance of the daffodils always makes me hopeful that winter is really almost over! Our daffodils are almost gone, and I actually had to turn on the air conditioner yesterday.

Such pretty examples of the daffodils. Love the last image where you can see droplets on them.
