I came across this the other morning hiding in deep shadow. As I was struggling to get a photo, the sun came over the trees and hit the flower at just enough of an angle to create these subtle shadows.
Hey, I'll take what I can get.

What a delightful shadow shot! It looks particularly beautiful to me because the sunlight and flower means spring -- surely soon!! Terrific! Enjoy your weekend, Christine!

Very beautiful Christine, the flower, the shadow shot and your garden. Good job both Mother Earth and Mr. Sun.
Peace
Gorgeous bloom!
My Shadow Shot, hope you can take a peek!
It's very cute.^^
That's beautiful, and how lovely for the sun to time things as it did! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend Christine :)
PS - Don't worry about not always having time to visit other shooters. I'm not able to visit as many as I wish I could either. Never enough hours in the day...
Oh my goodness .. I shouldn't have looked .. but it is perfect even though you have made me too jealous with snow here and the thought of seeing bulbs ? not for months yet !!
Joy ;-)
Great shadows and beautiful flower. Our Narcissus are just starting to sprout. The shoots are barely tall enough to create shadows.
Oh my. I've gone and neglected my friendly commenters again. I'm pretty sure I made it around to see all of your shadow shots though. Happy weekend!
