What a beautiful picture. I love the blush of pink on new buds just waiting to burst out.

Christine, I'm really starting to look forward to spring as well.

I had dwarf Quince when I lived in Texas. And growing up in TN my grandmother had a huge Quince bush that was so full of blooms each year. She called it her Japonica Bush...

Love the picture of the kitty in the Shadow shot... My two fur balls would be napping right along beside that beauty...

Lovely shot. The first buds are more precious than gold and silver by far...

Thank you, Noelle. Me too.

I am really enjoying your blog, Prospero.

Skeeter,
My quince bush is a finicky fruit producer; some years it's full of fruit, some years I get zilch. But it always puts out blossoms that are beautiful.
I'm so glad you like the kitty shot. I do too.

Meredith,
Isn't that the truth? They are like finding treasure.

It's very cute. I'm looking forward to see the flowers. ^^

You are so welcome, dear Paz.

I hope I can get some good shots of them when they open, Makiko. The rains have been rather distructive on the early bloomers. But we hope for better weather.
