This time of year with our lighthouse decked in a holiday glow reminds me that
June, sunlight, flowers blooming and vegetables growing is a mere 6 months away. It's a fair and necessary trade, these short gray days and long winter nights, for the delights of summer. Perspective comes to mind, and I like that.
