White Japanese Anemone

After nearly wiping out my white Japanese anemones with some rather heavy-handed weeding a few years back, I am happy to say that they are now growing well and multiplying in one section of my garden.

I love their white purity.

It is a lovely bloom, something a little spring-like for the fall. Earlier this year I started accidentally weeding out my lady slipper orchids, as I was weeding some nearby lily of the valley that had spread too far. Yikes. I put it back in though, and I think it forgave me, even if it didn't bloom this year.
