I say catch a shadow shot when the opportunity presents itself.
Take a look at what other shadow photographers are displaying at Tracy's blog Hey Harriet.

Guess we have to take what sun we can get when we can get it!! Terrific capture and it looks warmer than I'm sure it was! But it has a promise of spring and I'll take that! Enjoy your weekend!

Christine ! My goodness you had some "canadian" weather for a few minutes : ) I love the sot of the vinca slwly creeping to the mug .. reminds me of Little Shop of Horrors ? LOL
Yes I love my garden booties in that bright tartan .. brings the Scottish out in me ? LOL
There is supposed to be a great opportunity to photograph the moon tonight .. it is very close to the earth where we are positioned .. so I have my fingers crossed I can get a good one !
Joy : )
I had to come see what it's like over in Trinidad (I actually know where that is). I don't think I could have found a shadow today in Lincoln, my "Around California" shadow if from last month.
It's been pretty dismal in the Pacific Northwest, hasn't it Sylvia. I wish some sunshine for you soon!
Get a really good shot of that moon for me, Joy. We are clouded over!
Hi Martha, So nice to "see" you here. The sun has disappeared as I type this, the wind has come up and the temps have dropped. This is spring? ;) We should do a sun dance!
you've more greenery there than what we've currently got, and it's a pleasure seeing it. lovely shadow too. happy SSS, and have a great weekend.
Gorgeously taken!
My Shadow Shot, have a lovely weekend!
So pretty!
My shadows, please come and see.
nice capture of the vinca shadow!
thats a beautiful shot.
Such a lovely shadow shot; I love the simplicity of it. I would like to spend time here.
Such a creative photo. I love the vine's shadow and the cup 'hidden' in the shadows.

Have a glorious Sunday!! Stop by to visit if you can find time. Your company is always welcomed.
I'm back in the Northland now, and we need some sunshine too! I got spoiled being down in New Mexico. Someone told me they have over 310 days of sunshine per year!
Spring is coming though. Now, for the snow to melt.
Is that your coffee sitting there? It would have stayed warmer in the sun. Would enjoy a cup on your deck, but I'll wait for June weather.
Peace
What a lovely shadow you were able to find in your short window of sun. Good eye!!
It is a very clear shadow.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your great comments everyone. I think I've made it around to all of you. See you here again next week for more shadow shots!
What a nice, inviting shot. Happy spring!
What a lovely, artistic shot--good eye for a nice photo. Mickie
