Shadow Shot Sunday #90 #91 - Geometric Shadows

The skybridge connecting upper levels of the art galleries at the SFMOMA

Skybridge with people.

The shadows above the skybridge are cast by this huge skylight.

A work of art in itself.

Visit Hey Harriet's Shadow Shot Sunday this week to see more shadows from all over the globe.

2/6/10: This post is for SSS #91 which will appear next Sunday at Hey Harriet's. To see this week's SSS post #90, click here. Sorry about all this Tracy. I think I'm on the right track now, if a bit ahead of myself. Or maybe I'm behind?

Hi Christine,

I love your creative shadow photos. I definitely need to check out the museum next time I visit SF.

The walkway leaves a fabulous shadow, the herringbone pattern so artistic! The skylight is huge, and by leaving an interesting pattern in the shadows, a pleasure to view...

San Francisco is my favorite big city in California.
The patterns and monochrome colors really make this structure look like a art work. Love your photography.

Nice shots - wonderful geometry. I recall the first time I walked across this - scary, dizzying! I like the shot with the people in it - gives the depth.

The geometric shadows are stunning. Complicated, yet simple in black and white. Very nice.

These are cool captures! Art galleries can be a great source for wonderful shadows!

I'm not sure if you're ahead or behind. Now I'm confused! Although it doesn't take much to confuse me. Doesn't matter either way as your shadows rock!

Thanks so much, Carolyn. I love your black and white blog and hope to join in someday.

I always get a little when I first step out on bridges like this, Sharon. It goes away quickly though. Glad you like the shot.

Thank your for your visit, Serendipity. I'm glad you like them.

Great shots and a very appropiate building for a museum of modern art.
