It officially became winter this evening at 10:08 PST. We wanted a bonfire to celebrate but had a very small fire instead because it was already below 32-degrees and we couldn't keep the flames going. Still, it was pretty and warm while it lasted. Happy Solstice everyone! Welcome to winter, the turning of the year and the return of the light.
