I watched for two days while one of the "chameleon"
spiders on the Gertrude Jekyll rose ate another. As they
grew, did their quest for food make their rose-world that
much smaller and less tolerable?

very intriguing. love the pictures. so far, my pests experiences are limited to slimy ones in the guise of shells on their backs.
I've got to photograph a banana slug for you then. There's nothing quite like them.
