February in the Greenhouse - Christmas Orchid in February

I am going to be away for several weeks and wanted to leave you with this photo of my still-unfurling orchid.

It was on its last legs when I finally moved it from my home into the greenhouse last fall. Now it has three flower stems besides this one, and I'm hoping they will be blooming on my return.

Greenhouses rock!

Don't forget me. Two weeks is a long time in the blogosphere. I'll catch up with you all soon.

Happy Gardening!

  5. YAY! I found a FedEx Office in Savannah, GA. Thanks y'all for your comments. We are having a wonderful time - though it's been a bit cold and our trip was delayed 2 days due to snow on the runways - and I'll have some great photos to share when I get home.
    On to Charleston today!

  6. Oh, you have been to some of my favorite weekend getaways! The snow was most unusual for us here in this part of GA. We enjoyed it, although only for a day as it left us soon after its arrival. lol....

    Welcome Back...
